Maritime Radio Historical Society and the Marconi Conference Center
The Maritime Radio Historical Society is partnering with the Marconi
Conference Center for a special day honoring Sr. Guglielmo Marconi on
Saturday April 24, 2010.
Coastal Marine Station KSM and amateur station K6KPH will be operating
from the historic location in Marshall, California, built by the
American Marconi Company. Special commemorative QSL cards will be sent
to contacts.
Presentations on the history of KPH, the Marconi station, and various
special subjects will be made during the day.
RCA - The first 100 years on DVD
The Radio Club of America is offering its 100th Anniversary Platinum Yearbook in a DVD format, including all of the past Proceedings and Yearbooks, the Edwin A. Armstrong book plus a number of new articles, a historical overview, congratulatory letters, the President’s Message, and so much more.

RCA Breakfast at IWCE 2010
Start planning now to attend the RCA Breakfast at IWCE on Thursday, March 11th from 7:00 to 8:30 am at the las Vegas Hilton, at 3000 Paradise Rd in Las Vegas, NV. Randy Hargenrader Killed in fiery aircraft crash
James R. "Randy" Hargenrader K4QO, was one of four killed on October 20, 2009 in a fiery private aircraft crash upon takeoff at Summerville Airport in SC. The C6APR team were on their way to the Bahamas for a CQWW contest.
Randy became a RCA member in 1990, a Fellow in 1998and the owner of Hark Systems in SC. Click here to read the QCWA article.

Centennial Celebration Update
The Centennial Celebration is now just a memory of a great birthday party. There wereover 320 people in attendance for the two day event at the Georgetown University Hotel & Conference Center. in Washington CD. It started with the Welcome Cocktail Reception on Friday night which gave membes and non members the opportunity to visit with old friends and bid on the items in the Silent Auction.
